International Wheelchair Day

International Wheelchair Day, always on 1st March, promotes a day of events and activities for wheelchair users to celebrate the positive impact a wheelchair has had on their lives. Since its first launch in 2008, celebrations have taken place in Australia, Nepal, Senegal, South Africa, Bangladesh, Pakistan, United Kingdom and United States of America.
