What It Takes to Get a Guinness World Record?

Unique to Cultural Infusion – Guinness world record holder and coach Dean presents the inside world of Guinness. It begins with GWR history in the 1950’s when Guinness Brewery Director Sir Hugh Beaver had the idea to compile a book of facts and figures to promote Guinness beer. It explores what it takes to get a Guinness world record, details Dean’s personal Guinness story of hanging out with other world record holders -including the world champion toe wrestler, sitting the world’s smallest man on his knee, and shaking the world’s biggest hand. The talk includes some action film, archival photos, live demonstrations and interactive exercises that include giving students a chance to break an unofficial world record.
