In Yalla! Arab Dance and Culture, participants will embark on a lively and engaging journey into the diverse and rich traditions of the Arab world. This highly interactive program offers an opportunity to explore Arab cultures and histories through dance, music, and storytelling.
The Arab world is home to a variety of traditions, cultures, and dialects. This program celebrates this diversity, featuring presenters from Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and beyond, and allowing participants to discover the beauty of cultural expressions that span regions and generations.
One of the highlights of the workshop will be learning Dabke, the energetic and communal folk dance beloved in many Arab countries. Participants will have the chance to dance together, creating a sense of connection and joy as they experience the rhythm of the dance.
