Pentecost

This festival is celebrated 50 days after Easter, hence the Greek origin of its name meaning “fifty”. Traditions vary slightly depending on the country, but in most European countries, Pentecost brings a day of festivity and the beginning of spring. Young people and associations often make the most of this opportunity by organising festivals and events.
