Vesak, observed by individuals belonging to the Buddhist faith, signifies the birth of Buddha. This day recalls Buddhist principles and is a time for people to reflect on what they wish to implement in their lives, namely the values ​​of humility, generosity and kindness. Going to the temple, singing hymns and spreading kindness to the community are just some of the actions which fulfill the meaning of this day. Vesak is celebrated in many countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Japan and many more.
