Multicultural Moves is a unique interactive program that engages students in popular dance styles from around the world. In this program, students will learn the basic moves of various dance styles such as Jamaican Dancehall, Afro Dance, and Hip-Hop. The presenters will also introduce students to the historical and cultural perspectives and significance of these dances. Multicultural Moves offers tools that go beyond just artistic expression and performance to also support students’ mental wellbeing and improve their social skills and teamwork.
